NEW YORK STATE TEACHERS’ ASSOCIATION.
NOTES.
Election of officers N. Y. State Teachers’ Association will take places on Thursday, July 1. Only those holding membership tickets for 1879 will be allowed to vote. Proxy votes are not allowed. The annual dues of the Association are five dollars for men and one dollar for women. Teachers are advised to write for membership tickets for themselves and their friends in advance. Address S. McKee Smr., Treasurer, Chatham, N.Y.
The annual meeting of the Association will be held in the city of New York, at the direction of the various schools of the State, on Friday, July 2. Tables which if placed end to end would be over 2000 feet long, have been placed to show the handwork of the pupils of the various schools of the State. Besides, about 10,000 square feet of surface have been specially mounted work. The following schools have thus far responded for exhibits:
