The New York State Teachers’ Association

Delegates has adopted a zoning system whereby the State is divided into seven zones or districts. These districts and the meetings for the present year are as follows:

Northern District Franklin and St. Lawrence Counties Meeting place POTSDAM on Thursday and Friday, October 7-8, 1926. Officers: President, Carlos S. Blood, District Superintendent of Schools, Hurlbuton; Vice-President, Gertrude E. Hyde, District Superintendent of Schools, Mora; Secretary-Treasurer, Charles Van Hoesen, Principal Junior High School, Potsdam Normal School.

Western District Cattaraugus, Chautauqua, Erie, Genesee and Niagara Counties Meeting place ROCHESTER on Thursday and Friday, November 4-5, 1926. Officers: President, Dr. F. Darling, Superintendent of Schools, Utica; Vice-President, Dr. Harry Rockwell, Principal Buffalo State Normal School; Secretary-Treasurer, Mrs. D. B. Connolly, District Superintendent of Schools, Ashville.

Central-Western District Allegany, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Orleans, Wayne, Wyoming and Yates Counties Meeting place ROCHESTER on Thursday, November 4-5, 1926. Officers: President, W. E. Hawley, Principal Monroe Junior High School, Newark; Vice-President, N. F. Strawn, District Superintendent of Schools, Fulton; Secretary-Treasurer, Kathryn O. Ward, Principal School No. 39, Rochester.

Central District Cayuga, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego and Seneca Counties Meeting place UTICA on Thursday and Friday, October 21-22, 1926. Eastern District Albany, Clinton, Columbia, Dutchess, Essex, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Ulster, Warren and Washington Counties Meeting place ALBANY on Thursday and Friday, October 21-22, 1926. Officers: President, E. R. Coubon, School No. 12, Robbins Sc., Washington Bird; Vice-President, Anna Know, Department of Public Instruction, Poughkeepsie; Secretary-Treasurer, G. M. Elmdorf, Superintendent of Schools, Oneonta.

Southern District Broome, Chemung, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Schuyler, Steuben, Tioga and Tompkins Counties Meeting place BINGHAMTON on Thursday and Friday, November 11-12, 1926. Officers: President, George J. Dann, Superintendent of Schools, Binghamton; Vice-President, Robert E. Knapp, Superintendent of Schools, Oneonta; Secretary-Treasurer, Edith Tollerion, Colleics.

Southeastern District Nassau, Orange, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan and Westchester Counties Meeting place NEW YORK CITY on Thursday and Friday, October 14-15, 1926. Officers: President, A. H. Naylor, Superintendent of Schools, Port Jervis; Vice-President, Fred J. Lewis, Superintendent of Schools, Barryville; Secretary-Treasurer, Ervin.
