I applied on the 15th of December, my paperwork isn’t in yet unfortunately. I did homeschool, 1 year of traditional high school, and graduated early (at 16) with the GED/TASC/HSE. What’s frustrating is my final piece of paperwork, the TASC transcript and diploma is sitting in their P.O. Box in Brooklyn and it has remained there as I obsessively checked for several days (gosh darn the holidays). I hope we both get our decisions relatively soon but it could be a couple of months. My dad works in the Queens College Bursar department and his colleague in admissions said that they’re getting lower volumes of applications than usual (probably because of the pandemic) so the usual time could be expedited. On the other hand they have a rotating schedule of when employees actually go in to the office to collect mail and other documents (my dad goes once every other week) so that probably balances it out. Waiting patiently can sometimes drive you a little crazy but they’re all working as fast and as hard as they can in the CUNY admissions.
