Well, to be honest it is expensive. Nyc is one of the most expensive cities BUT don’t be afraid of coming! if you really wanna live here, do it! You won’t regret it, I love it and I feel like you would too!

You just have to make your budget and make priorities. Find some roommates, try not to go out every single day to party, try not to eat in fancy restaurants all the time, try to cook instead!! Also, I know Manhattan is the “dream” but rent is cheaper in Brooklyn, queens and the Bronx (there’s really good areas in those boroughs too). You certainly do not need a car, you can use the subway (33$ per week, 130$ per month or 2.75 per ride), bike, and walk everywhere! Try not to use Uber, they are overpriced, a girl on tik tok says: no sober ubers!
