For your resume it doesn’t have any bearing, but you still need to ace the job interview by demonstrating strong subject knowledge.
A BS can be worthwhile for those a bit behind, but don’t want to have the feeling of “wasting time” retaking classes.
Basically if your classes feel mostly easy, it’d make sense to graduate early with a BA.
But if you constantly have the feeling of your courses feeling overwhelming and mostly getting low B’s and C’s in your classes, the extra time a BS provides you to learn how to properly code can help you actually land and keep the job.
While a lot of this can be done for free by training with leetcode and online moocs, you’d have little assistance/direction if you get stuck compared to a class environment.
