Private colleges might be your best go. St. Francis College in Downtown Brooklyn is known to accept alot of people with low GPA’s and they’re a little cheaper than St Joseph’s. But try not to let tuition worry you too much as another user said, these private colleges have alot of scholarships and decent financial Aid packages. Go to Hostos’s transfer center and talk to a counselor, see if there’s anything you can do, some schools may accept you not based on GPA/forgive a low GPA if you do something else like an entrance exam or something that supplements your low GPA score. Look beyond CUNY, it’s NYC we have a bunch of 4 year schools here. Maybe there’s even something in LI or NJ if anything. You never know. It’s ok, your life isn’t over

Edit: OP, did you think about College of Staten Island? Idk where you live or what your commute will be but it’s better than nothing, it’s still CUNY. It may not be the best in terms of commute or quality campus? But CSI does take in people with 2.0 GPAs
