Man I was on the same boat as you in senior year, but in the accounting track with zero internship. I applied like crazy through the STARR job portal and was able to get a full time offer at a midsize accounting firm in financial audit. Later I pivot to IT audit at another public accounting firm, thanks to a friend I met in Baruch. Currently I am a senior IT auditor at a F100 company making $100K+. The takeaway is don’t lose hope even if you don’t have any internship. Take advantage of Baruch’s job portal and make genuine connections with your peers in class and clubs, they will take you places when you least expect it and open doors.

Also an interview tip that got me through the door is be personable and mold the environment to your favor. I got my first job talking to the interviewer about cannabis industry in which they were auditing actively at the time and scheduling the interview at 4:20pm, the rest was history. When life gives you lemons make lemonades. Stay strong Kings and Queens👑
