If you have so little faith in your own writing that you don’t believe it will be not be accepted for entrance, then you will not be able complete college level work once you begin classes.
The truth is, CUNY as a whole accepts a wide spectrum of ability. Is your writing up to snuff for Baruch? Perhaps not. But can you get accepted into Bronx Community College? Likely yeah.
If you use ChatGPT to get accepted into a program above your ability level, then you will face difficulties later on in your degree track. You may be pursuing a less writing focused major, but every undergrad program requires at least two writing intensive classes before graduation. From what I have observed, these classes are usually very forgiving in terms of grading. So long as your follow the rubric and submit honest work.
Whatever you write will likely be acceptable, and it would serve you better to start your academic career in your own voice.
