Very biased, I liked my time at CCNY. The only thing I didn’t like is the nac/marshack building layouts. Kind of dead and lifeless and easy to get lost. Elevators are slow, escalators often break. Figuring out how to socialize is kind of difficult, but the people of CCNY are social, just have to find them when they’re not stressed, in classes, or headed home.
I did the B.Arch program and it’s a very different experience from the rest of the campus. All my classes were in the architecture building and past my 1st year I didn’t leave that building. I honestly felt bad for my non-architecture friends
My admin team in my major were great. Saw them around all the time. They at least knew my face and knew the names of most students. I transferred in and by then I knew what I needed. I got screwed out of some summer classes, but w/e. Still graduated on time.
Other than exchanging formalities I didn’t need any help from them. I know a few of my friends had problems with the advisors but graduated not hating the advisors. They old ones retired and only 1 advisor replaced them, so I don’t blame them
