Hunter is a cheap public university, so they can only afford to pay so many professors and adjuncts. I doubt they could afford to have an equal amount of in person and online classes at varying times without greatly increasing, or practically doubling, their amount of professors, thus raising our tuition. There are other online based CUNYs if you’re interested in a more hybrid experience, but obviously switching schools is inconvenient. you might be able to reach out to the office of accessibility and see if they can help you with online accommodations. I also wish they offered Spanish online during the summer, but they can barely afford to keep the escalators running, so I try to give them grace with my expectations. 😅
