You don’t have to prove your innocence. Whomever accusing you has the burden of proof that you have cheated. Ask for a proof.
Whenever I check on my essay that I wrote about my personal life experience, AI checker like Turnitin that CUNY professors use said only 75% - 85% original work. Even spelling out CUNY on the title page was flagged along with use of cliches. When writing about personal experiences, I naturally use common phrases, idioms, or expressions that the AI checker might recognize from other sources like person, place or things. More commonly use they are more likely to get flagged as use of AI. How stupid are those who relied on AI to check for AI cheaters on essays.
