Financial Aid Ineligibility?

So I had a very serious health issue that nearly took my life last year. As such, I failed everything however my retroactive withdrawal was completely approved (i believe, have to double check)

I just got the email saying I’m ineligible for federal financial aid due to the gpa requirement. I appealed of course, but has anyone been through this? Are they quick with it? I rely on FAFSA to pay my rent bills and other stuff as I am a working student and don’t get much support from home. If I lose my financial aid I’d have to drop out.

This is stressing me out immensely and I’m worried as I don’t want to have to drop out. If anybody has been through similar I would appreciate some insight:)
